We teach art classes for kids and adults, so we thought we’d take a minute to show you what you (and your child) can expect to create in our ceramics classes:
In our kid’s Ceramics Classes, the kids make a variety of guided projects, including Coil Pots, Shape Plates using molds, and even Self Portraits:
One of our favorite projects in the kids class is Magic Wands. Each child picks a “magic stone” to use in their project, and designs and decorates a wand of their own around it:
These classes reinforce basic ceramics skills with every project including hand building, carving, scoring and joining, using molds, and more. We also include “Free Clay Days” where kids get to exercise their creativity in their own unguided work.
We also teach classes in ceramics painting for adults. Each project is unique and designed by us to help you create an original and functional piece of art for your home. Previous classes have included housewares, kitchen items and holiday pieces:
Each project is completed in two evening meetings and we provide all the materials including greenware, paint and glazes. All you need is some brushes and your creativity!
