In 2005 we created a set of ceramics and furniture including kitchenwares, tables and settings, living and bedroom furniture and more. The line was intended to be thematically similar and interchangeable, with a vibrant and earthy design sense.
We titled it “Liane”, using the German word for “Vine”, and we put our talents to use towards our goal, to create a line of high-quality and durable housewares, hand-crafted here in America by skilled artisans.

The ceramics line included every kind of houseware imaginable; table settings, pitchers, vases, platters, cups, candle holders, planting pots and more. Many of the patterns were also made to be adaptable for any other specially requested shapes. Each piece was painted and fired by us in our studio from greenware stock created by a local artisan. Select pieces included an application of 14-carat gold. Here’s a sampling of the entire line:
The furniture line included two different armoire designs, bed-side tables, and a dining set with chairs in a light or dark stain. All of the pieces were crafted of Pine or Poplar and finished by us in our studio using a combination of high-quality stains and paints. Each piece included a high-gloss Varathane finish for maximum durability.
